Distributed Antenna System (DAS) is a network of spatially distributed antennas connected to a common source, thus providing wireless service within a specific geographic area. The RF signals to and from the mobile operators' site base station are combined and piped through a system of multiple antennas. A distributed antenna system’s performance depends on the type of technology it uses. The system can support a wide variety of technologies and frequencies, including 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G. To meet consumers’ service expectations, these systems need to perform even during power outages, therefore uninterrupted power supply is critical.
Those systems are usually used in areas where coverage from the conventional base stations is not sufficient due to the essence of the area to be covered. Some examples for such areas are:
- Shopping malls;
- Large business centres or buildings such as airports, train stations etc.;
- Highway tunnels;
- Metro tunnels;
In combination with our partners we offer a wide range of solutions tailored to the needs of mobile operators and site owners. We have completed some of the largest installations in Easter Europe, such as:
- All metro stations of Metro Diameter I and II from Sofia Metropolitan;
- Sofia Ring Mall;
- Millennium centre (NIKMI buildings);
